Hylant Announces Acquisition of Thurston Springer Private Lines

July 7, 2022

Indianapolis, IN July 7, 2022 – Hylant assumed all personal lines insurance operations and policies of Thurston Springer private clients on June 1, 2022, the company announced. Under a shared revenue agreement, Hylant will continue the personal lines insurance service Thurston Springer clients have come to expect.

“For more than 40 years, Thurston Springer has promised to put clients first,” said Rick Parker, CEO of Thurston Springer. “By transferring personal insurance service to Hylant, they continue to come first through world-class service. We are excited about how this partnership can benefit our clients.”

Hylant’s personal insurance experts have long delivered concierge service to personal insurance clients, including homeowners, auto, health and life insurance, plus a dedicated family office team. With personalized service, executive insurance coverage summaries and 24/7 online access to policies, Hylant personal insurance clients are well protected.

“Hylant’s personal insurance group exemplifies our dedication to treating clients like family,” said Clayton Jennings, regional CEO at Hylant. “It’s about protecting who and what matters to them the same way we want our own families protected. Thurston Springer clients will experience this same level of dedication as we bring them into the Hylant family.”

This partnership continues to support Hylant’s robust growth goals and comes alongside recent expansions in Hylant’s executive risk, transactional risk and cyber risk groups, as well as the acquisition of talent in Miami, Atlanta and Elkart, Indiana, amongst other locations.

“We’ve seen such rapid changes in insurance needs over the past five years, and we can meet those needs,” said Jennings. “By continuing to expand our footprint, we can deliver solutions to more people, solving problems and building strong partnerships within the communities.”
