Are You a Good Fit?
- Junior, senior or master’s-level student pursuing sales/marketing, accounting, insurance, risk management or business
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Interested in pursuing a career in the insurance industry
- Extracurricular involvement and prior work or internship experience
- Availability to intern full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Yes, we offer paid internships. Our compensation is competitive and reflects the responsibilities and learning opportunities of the role.
Interns at Hylant work on meaningful projects that contribute to the success of our business. You’ll gain hands-on experience in your department and through our group Capstone Project. We believe in providing impactful, challenging work that will help you grow as a professional.
Yes! We offer a structured onboarding program and assign each intern a mentor who will guide you throughout your internship. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in professional and personal development sessions, workshops, and networking events with other interns and employees.
After submitting your application, our recruitment team will review your materials. If selected, you'll be invited to participate in one or more interviews, either virtually or in-person, and complete a personality assessment.
While full-time employment isn’t guaranteed, many of our interns are offered full-time roles based on their performance and company needs. Hylant values growing our talent internally and will provide interns with opportunities for continued professional growth, whether immediately post-graduation or even in the future after their internships have ended!
You can apply for as many positions as you are interested in; however, we prefer you focus your intentions on the internship you are most interested in and where you believe you can make the most impact with your prior experience and education.
On select occasions, we offer remote internships based on the needs of specific departments. However, the majority of our intern opportunities are in-office and in-person five (5) days per week.
No previous internship experience is required but is strongly preferred. We understand that everyone has to start somewhere! We encourage you to apply if you are excited about gaining hands-on experience and have a willingness to learn.
Our dress code is business appropriate for in-office work, but we aim for a comfortable and professional environment. If you are working remote, we recommend dressing appropriately for virtual meetings.
Yes, we believe in a well-rounded internship experience! Our interns are invited to participate in team outings, volunteer opportunities, and company-wide events! These are a great way to get to know your colleagues and feel a part of the team.
Absolutely! We encourage you to reapply for future opportunities. Our application process is competitive and unfortunately not everyone who applies will have the opportunity to intern. Even if you weren’t selected this time, you may be a great fit for a different role down the line.
