Hylant Family History
Hylant’s history is grounded in the spirit of service and dedication. Our founder, Edward P. Hylant, fought in the battle to liberate Sainte-Mère-Église, France, during World War I. To honor their fallen brothers, he and his fellow infantrymen helped rebuild a church—a church his son, Robert Hylant, would take refuge in 25 years later during the invasion of Normandy.
