Hylant Expands Loss Control Capabilities

Safety management experience added to Hylant’s casualty loss control team

October 20, 2026

TOLEDO, OH - October 20, 2026 - Hylant announced that Brian Bills has joined its casualty loss control team, further expanding the firm’s ability to help commercial clients identify and mitigate risks before losses occur.

Bills brings over 20 years of experience in fleet and property safety management to Hylant. His specialized knowledge strengthens the firm’s capabilities in areas such as driver safety, transportation risk and fleet operations, complementing the team’s existing expertise across manufacturing, transportation, schools and municipalities.

“Brian’s experience adds important depth to an already talented team,” said Alison Brinkman, who leads Hylant’s loss control practice. “His practical understanding of fleet operations and safety allows us to provide even more meaningful guidance to clients with complex transportation exposures. He shares our commitment to helping clients protect their people, property and organizations.”

Bills joins Hylant’s casualty loss control team under the direction of Sean Majewski. In his role, he will work alongside Hylant client executives and other risk professionals to help clients proactively evaluate exposures, strengthen safety programs and identify practical opportunities to reduce the frequency and severity of losses.

Hylant’s loss control team includes casualty and property risk advisors who collaborate with clients, their employees, insurance carriers and other partners to cost-effectively manage risk and reduce the probability of loss. The team helps organizations support compliance, improve safety, address property risk engineering concerns and strengthen cost-control efforts.

“Effective loss control is not simply about responding to a problem after it happens,” Majewski said. “It is about understanding each client’s operations, anticipating potential risks and developing strategies that protect employees while supporting long-term business performance.”

Through strategic guidance, training, risk assessments and other resources, Hylant’s loss control advisors help clients streamline processes, gain actionable insights, improve performance and reduce their total cost of risk.
