Cordelia Ball and Frenchi Mack II Named 2025 Recipients of the Hylant Risk Management & Insurance Endowed Scholarship

Toledo, OH – March 20, 2025 – The Hylant Family Foundation is proud to announce the 2025 recipients of the Hylant Risk Management & Insurance Endowed Scholarship at Butler University: Frenchi Mack II and Cordelia Ball. This scholarship supports the next generation of leaders in the risk management and insurance industry by providing critical financial assistance to outstanding students in Butler University’s Andre B. Lacy School of Business and the Davey Risk Management Program.
Frenchi Mack II, from Bowie, Maryland, is a junior majoring in risk management and insurance. He is also a dedicated student-athlete, playing as a defensive lineman for the Butler Bulldogs football team. His commitment to both academics and athletics exemplifies the resilience and leadership the Hylant scholarship seeks to reward.
Cordelia Ball, from Elkhart, Indiana, is a sophomore majoring in risk management and insurance. She has demonstrated incredible perseverance and dedication to her education, balancing 30 to 40 hours of work per week along with 14 hours of coursework and various extracurricular activities.
These exceptional students reflect the scholarship’s mission to recognize and support driven individuals committed to excelling in risk management and insurance while overcoming financial barriers.

This scholarship is part of Hylant’s $1 million commitment to Butler University’s Lacy School of Business, reinforcing a shared vision of nurturing talent in the industry.
