Hylant Global Captive Solutions Hires Gerardo Rebollar

Indianapolis, IN June 21, 2021 – Gerardo Rebollar has joined the Hylant Global Captive Solutions team as the Director of Captive Reinsurance based in Mexico City, announced Anne Marie Towle, Global Captive Solutions leader.

Bringing more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, Rebollar will design and implement captive insurance solutions for Latin American companies in various domiciles. As a reinsurance broker for more than 15 years, including five years in the London market, Rebollar will play a key role in Hylant’s reinsurance service growth.

Not only will Gerardo’s addition to the Hylant team expand the organization’s ability to serve captive clients, but it also expands Hylant’s global presence. Rebollar is the newest addition to Hylant’s captive team in a year of drastic team growth, fresh on the heels of Alexandra Gedge, based in London, and Ankush Das, based in Mumbai, joining Hylant.

As captives have proven their worth even during a soft insurance market, they are increasingly in demand as companies seek the best alternative risk solutions. The increasing interest in captives has driven Hylant’s focus on expanding its global presence, with 10 new hires brought on to Global Captive Solutions in 2021, including Mumbai, London, Vermont, South Carolina and Indiana. The expansion of the captive team in these locations has expanded Hylant’s operational abilities.
