Hylant Global Captive Solutions Expands Team, Global Presence

Indianapolis, IN June 14, 2021 – Hylant Global Captive Solutions has added Alexandra Gedge as senior captive consultant to its team, expanding the group’s capabilities and global presence.

Based in London, Gedge will continue the growth of Hylant’s Global Captive Solutions business with a focus on expanding Hylant’s work in Europe and the rest of the globe.

Having started her career as a real estate underwriter before working in the captive industry at Willis Towers Watson, Gedge most recently worked at Marsh Captive Solutions (formerly JLT Insurance Management), supporting companies throughout the lifecycle of the captive process, from feasibility study to management.

As captives have proven their worth even during a soft insurance market, they are increasingly in demand through this hard market as companies seek the best alternative risk solutions. The increasing interest in captives has driven Hylant’s focus on expanding its global presence, with 10 new hires brought in to Global Captive Solutions in 2021 thus far, including Mumbai, Mexico City, Vermont, South Carolina and Indiana. The expansion of the captive team in these locations has enhanced Hylant’s operational abilities.
