Hylant Expands Employee Benefits Services in Elkhart, Acquires Cobalt Benefits, Inc.

Indianapolis, IN August 2, 2021 – Hylant has acquired Cobalt Benefits, Inc., expanding the firm’s employee benefits services in the Elkhart, Mishawaka and South Bend communities, Hylant announced Monday.

Cobalt Benefits, a boutique agency serving the Elkhart community for almost 20 years, specializes in self-funding and partial self-funding, along with traditional medical, dental, vision, life and disability brokerage services. By joining forces with Hylant, services for clients are now expanded to include property and casualty, M&A, captive solutions, cybersecurity solutions, and personal insurance.

The new Elkhart location will have a dedicated team of experts, including Whitt and a committed client service team. The team will continue to provide the personal touch of a local broker with access to the depth and breadth of Hylant experts.
