Hylant Announces Enhancements to Leadership Team

TOLEDO, Ohio Jan. 4, 2017 – Hylant, one of the nation’s largest privately owned insurance brokerage firms, announces leadership team enhancements at its headquarters in Toledo, Ohio, as a part of a long-term strategic vision for growth and continued commitment to quality customer service.

Bill Pridgeon, Hylant president, is setting aside his CFO responsibilities to focus on strategic collaboration with other Hylant leaders to seek opportunities for growth, including talent attraction and acquisitions.

“These strategic changes in our organization allow Hylant to continue to intimately focus on our customers and grow as a premier privately held insurance operation,” Pridgeon said. “I look forward to working with these talented individuals, along with the rest of the Hylant leadership team, as we shape Hylant’s future.”

Jon Strole, an integral part of the Hylant leadership team for 18 years, assumes the CFO role. His focus on key business strategies and best practices has contributed to Hylant’s success. Jon will lead finance, analysis, real estate and strategic vendor relationships and oversee the Hylant 401k plan. He holds a bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Toledo and is a certified public accountant.

Bob Monard, a 12-year member of the Hylant team, holds a bachelor of business administration degree from Ohio Northern University, is a certified public accountant and brings a wealth of knowledge in finance and accounting to his new role as vice president, treasurer and controller. Bob’s responsibilities involve oversight of the Accounting and Finance departments, including the annual audit process, reporting and forecasting, corporate tax returns, cash management and investing. He also will manage responsibilities for acquisition due diligence and integration and other special projects.

Andy Dale is relocating to Toledo to join Hylant as vice president and COO. He spent 15 years with Fifth Third Bancorp with positions as CFO for northwestern Ohio in Toledo; regional CFO for Ohio and the southeast U.S. in Cleveland; managing director in strategic planning in Cincinnati, and most recently as senior vice president, commercial line of business, also in Cincinnati. He is a certified public accountant and holds a master of business administration degree from The Ohio State University. Andy will oversee general operations, information systems and legal as a member of the Hylant executive team.
